NABCB is the acronym for National Accreditation Board for Certification Bodies. NABCB is a constituent board of the Quality Council of India (QCI).
About: NDMC and NABET-QCI have partnered to foster excellence in school education sector. A structured methodology has been laid to improve the learning outcomes of students by intervention in teaching-learning process in 42 NDMC schools. After successful implementation of project for 2 years in all the schools, it was empirically observed that learning outcomes of students can be improved significantly.
About: Comprehensive Assessment & Evaluation of all schools under Delhi Government & other allied agencies: The School Development Index (SDI), a comprehensive evaluation of all schools of Delhi leading to ‘quality assurance’ & ‘quality sustenance’ in school education. The exercise involved the evaluation of 5537 schools across Delhi from November 2018 to May 2019. The evaluation was an aggregate of four themes as categorized under the Safety and Security Index, Teaching and Learning Index, Social Inclusion Index and Parent Participation Index. NABET-QCI successfully completed evaluation of all the schools by 29th April 2019
About: Assessment and Quality Intervention Certification of 30 Schools under Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (MCGM) – Pilot Project: To improve student learning outcomes and create a robust system of monitoring and evaluation of the public education system, MCGM partnered with QCI to conduct assessment, quality intervention and certification of schools.
Third-party evaluation of three higher-education schemes namely was undertaken- Impacting Research, Innovation and Technology (IMPRINT); Impacting Research, Innovation and Technology (IMPRINT II); and Uchhatar Avishkar Yojana (UAY). Report has been accepted by MoE in the month of January 2021.
The primary role of NABCB is to assess and accredit Conformity Assessment Bodies (CABs) that provide conformity assessment services i.e., certification, inspection, and validation & verification. NABCB ensures that these CABs meet the required standards and criteria for impartiality, competence, and reliability.
About: Assessment & evaluation Residential Hostels under ST & SC Development, Minorities & Backward Classes Welfare Department: To conduct assessment of residential school hostels leading to quality assurance and quality sustenance. The department & QCI have partnered in order to identify gap areas of the hostels along with relevant action plan for quality improvement. NABET-QCI assessed 1498 hostels spread across two phases
About: Capacity Building of 10,000 teachers on ICT tools & techniques: FEED has received a Letter of Intent dated 8th September 2021 from Department of ST & SC Development, Minorities and Backward Classes Welfare, Odisha to conduct training programs for 10,000 teachers. The objective is to enhance skills of teachers on blended teaching & learning. In 2021- 2022, total of 100 batches have been successfully completed.
About: Grading of 71 Schools under DAV Managing Committee, Chhattisgarh (ongoing): The DAV Managing Committee & QCI partnered to conduct accreditation of 72 schools on NABET Accreditation Standard for Quality School Governance. The objective is to provide framework for the effective management and delivery of the holistic education program aimed at overall development of school.

About: Assessment & Accreditation of Schools under Army Welfare Education Society (AWES)- ongoing: The objective is to strengthen the existing system of Army Public Schools to identify key trends and existing systemic/policy issues that hinder learning environment and consequently devise data-based course correction so that requisite changes in the existing schools can be brought to improve effectiveness of the system. FEED-NABET has received a work order from AWES for accreditation of 10 Army Public Schools (APSs) PAN India as pilot.
About: To improve teaching practices and student learning outcomes, QCI partnered with Schools of Oman to develop a robust system of evaluation & assessment of teachers. The overall objective of conducting the assessments was to provide detailed report on individual teacher starting from current practices, areas of improvement and suggested action plan to improve classroom teaching.
