National Accreditation Board of Education and Training (NABET) a constituent board of Quality Council of India (QCI) an autonomous national accreditation body under DPIIT, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, GOI has undertaken initiative to conduct two- days online workshop on Preparing School for Accreditation on revised School Accreditation Standard on 28th -29th October, 2026.
This workshop is conceptualized in sync with importance of Accreditation and Quality sustenance and maintenance in schools signified in New Education Policy (NEP)-2020.
Workshop aims at enabling participants (Principals, Teachers and other stakeholders) to:
- understand difference between affiliation, recognition and accreditation
- understand accreditation, its purpose and benefits
- understand terminologies associated with Quality and Accreditation Standard for Quality School Governance
- understand key domains, standards and parameters of the standard in detail
- understand factors (internal and external) that impact school\'s functioning
- understand concept of mission, quality objectives and their linkages with the activities of the school
- understand the use of documentation as a tool for enhancing quality
- understand the use of action research in schools as a tool for continuous improvement
- understand systematic data analysis in school\'s context
- understand the importance of periodic data driven reviews and performance review meetings
- understand the concept of innovation and benchmarking
- understand importance of self-assessment and its usage to improve the functioning
- enable implementation of the standard for school to operate with increased effectiveness, consistency, efficiency and make a roadmap for its accreditation.
