Operating through its three core divisions, Education (ED), Environment & Exploration (EED), and Training & Capacity Building (TCB), NABET aligns quality assurance, capacity development, and regulatory efforts to promote systemic improvements and a future-ready ecosystem.

The Education Division (ED) bolsters the education system through large-scale initiatives focused on improving learning outcomes, increasing institutional effectiveness, and ensuring Quality Council of India accreditation standards across school, tribal, medical, technical, and higher education. Its activities include school accreditation, enhancements in teaching and learning, national scheme evaluations, as well as assessments, rankings, and audits across higher and professional education. This helps strengthen institutional performance and accountability.

The Environment & Exploration Division (EED) enhances environmental governance by accrediting EIA Consultant Organisations and expanding into exploration- and mining-related accreditation frameworks such as AEA, APA, and MPPA. It encourages compliance, transparency, and responsible development across industrial and infrastructure sectors.

Through the Training & Capacity Building Division (TCB), NABET enhances professional skills across key sectors with tailored and scalable training solutions. Collectively, the divisions position NABET as a driver for quality, accountability, and systemic improvement aligned with national and global priorities.
