"Margdarshan" –Building ICMR’s professionals from Day One
“Margdarshan”- Orientation Program concluded in 9 batches conducted across multiple premier viz National Productivity Council-Chennai , IIT- Hyderabad, IIT Guwahati, Bharati Vidyapeeth- Pune, BITS Pilani Goa Campus, MRIIRS Faridabad, and BMHRC-Bhopal training approximately 330 new technical recruits of the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR).
This flagship 1 month residential program provided foundational training in administration, finance, scientific leadership, quality, and project management, equipping recruits with the skills and knowledge required to contribute effectively to India’s public health research ecosystem while supporting innovation, excellence, and national health priorities.










Enhancing Quality and Precision: ISO/IEC 17025:2017 Training with ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India
TCB conducted specialized training programmes for ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India at Hazira, Surat, to strengthen laboratory competence and quality excellence aligned with ISO/IEC 17025:2017.
The trainings on Laboratory Systems & Internal Audit and Uncertainty of Measurement & Decision Rule enhanced participants’ understanding of quality management systems, precision in testing, uncertainty calculations, and informed decision-making through practical, hands-on exercises. The programme reinforced continuous improvement and high standards of quality and accuracy in steel industry testing practices.



Enhancing Laboratory Excellence: ISO/IEC 17025:2017 Training with CPRI
TCB successfully conducted specialized training programs for Central Power Research Institute (CPRI) on ISO/IEC 17025:2017, focusing on Laboratory Systems & Internal Audits, as well as Uncertainty of Measurement and Decision Rules. The programs strengthened the technical competencies of scientists and laboratory professionals through practical insights into quality management systems, internal auditing methodologies, measurement uncertainty, and conformity assessment practices




Building Water Quality Infrastructure of the Nation - Leading the Charge as Key Resource Centre for National Jal Jeevan Mission
Under the National Jal Jeevan Mission (NJJM), QCI, as a designated Key Resource Center (KRC), conducted 30 residential training programs across multiple States and Union Territories, training over 1,600 officials from PHED, Rural Water Supply, and Public Works Departments, including engineers, utility managers, and laboratory personnel. In collaboration with departments such as PHED Kolkata & Assam, PHE Leh, DDWS Jharkhand, and PWD Lakshadweep, TCB also trained around 360 laboratory professionals on water quality assessment, monitoring techniques, accreditation processes, and testing of bacterial, virological, and biological parameters through interactive and practical learning sessions.




Quality Council of India & CREDAI Partner to Empower Construction Workers through Skill Development and Welfare Initiatives
Under the MoU between QCI-CREDAI, “Empowering Construction Workers through Refining Skills and Improving Quality of Life,” trained over 1300 construction workers from leading developers held in Gujarat & Kochi . The program covered technical skills such as masonry, tiling, and bar bending, along with sessions on workplace safety, financial literacy, addiction awareness, and access to welfare schemes like E-Shram and ABHA, promoting both skill enhancement and worker well-being.



PTB Germany Sponsored Project to Strengthen Quality Infrastructure for Water Monitoring of the Ganges River II
Under the PTB Germany-sponsored project “Strengthening Quality Infrastructure for Water Monitoring of the Ganges River (Phase II), India”, implemented in collaboration with the National Mission for Clean Ganga, TCB/QCI conducted six training programs from in Dehradun and Lucknow for officials of the Uttarakhand Pollution Control Board and Uttar Pradesh Pollution Control Board. The trainings focused on ISO/IEC 17025:2017, covering Laboratory Systems & Internal Audit, Uncertainty of Measurement & Decision Rule, and Risk Management Requirements & Implementation, strengthening the testing infrastructure supporting NMCG initiatives.
